42RARS – Retail Showroom Sales Consultant

Hourly pay + Commission + 100% provided leads = $50k first year, more thereafter.

We are a growing, family owned company with a primary retail location in Paterson, NJ.  We are seeking an experienced inside salesperson used to working a busy showroom floor.

Our retail showroom receives heavy foot traffic and we distribute all leads evenly. Our salespeople are responsible for communicating with clients to discover their needs and offer a consultative/low pressure sales process.  Simultaneously offering a high level customer experience along with outstanding product knowledge will deliver profitable success for both the salesperson and our company.

We will provide training, leads and a great support team.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of five years of demonstrated success in a retail showroom sales environment.
  • Great energy and a warm, welcoming personality.
  • A professional appearance and wardrobe.
  • The ability to learn new product and sales processes.
  • Integrity, initiative and a proven work ethic.
  • A team player mentality.
  • Killer verbal and written communication skills.
  • The willingness and ability to enter orders into our POS/Sales computer system and be generally technically proficient.

Additional desired qualifications:

  • Experience with Furniture, Major Appliance, Electronics or Mattress sales is a plus.

This is a full time position, 40 hours per week. Some overtime available.  Our showroom is open 7 days a week and every evening.  Saturdays and some evening hours are required.

$16/hour to start + Spiff Commission +Medical Benefits and 401K available.
